Audio High is proud to bring pianist Robert Silverman back to the Bay Area for our 2010 - 2011 concert series featuring the complete Beethoven piano sonata cycle.

For additional donations please go to Audio High Donations.

About the Artist

Silverman is one of the world’s premiere pianists, having reached a level of musical and technical authority that can only be accomplished after years of deep commitment to the instrument and its vast literature. In a career spanning more than five decades, he has climbed every peak of serious pianism.

Many aspects of Mr. Silverman’s playing are frequently noted: a polished technique, an extraordinary range of tonal palette, an uncanny ability to sing his way into the heart of a phrase, and probing interpretations of the most complex works in the repertoire.

He is one of the few pianists to tackle both the entire Beethoven piano sonata cycle and the complete Mozart piano sonatas. He has performed in prestigious halls across the globe with many of the world’s greatest conductors, and he has produced many award-winning recordings. His complete discography includes 25 CDs and a dozen LPs.

The complete Beethoven piano sonata cycle performances will be recorded and produced on CD and in high-res audio, available for download.
